Job Description:

Hi there! I am from Brighton English Kindergarten/JLS (Gwangsan Branch) in Gwangju, situated in the Suwan neighborhood. We are an established kindergarten and elementary hagwon, operating since 2012 with 12 native teachers currently on board, most of whom are on their second, third, or fourth contract with us. We are seeking a new teacher to join us as a replacement for a staff member completing their contract in September 2025.

Here are the details:

- Location: Suwan-ro, Gwangju City

- Contract start date: September 1st, 2025

- Working hours: Mon-Fri 11:00-16:30/18:10/19:00 (dependent on the day)

- Salary: Minimum 2.55 million KRW, based on experience

- Vacation: 11 days including summer/winter vacation and all red days

- Class size: Maximum of 12 students

- Free school lunches: No care provided during lunchtime

- Standard benefits: Severance pay, National pension, health insurance, round-trip flight tickets, and furnished apartment

- Support from a foreign head teacher

- Monthly field trips and themed activity days

As the new teacher, you will instruct kindergarten and elementary aged learners. The specific schedule and classes will be discussed during the interview phase.

Requirements:

- E-2 visa eligibility from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa

- Notarized Bachelor's Degree and background check (valid within 6 months)
