Job Description:

Mavens Language Cityhall Center  is seeking intelligent, well-spoken, and professional individuals to join our team of teachers. Since the pandemic has been winding down, our business has grown faster than anticipated. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team of 19 onsite teachers.

LOCATION: Seoul city hall branch

CONTRACT START
Part-Time: June 1st
Full-Time: Mid-August to September 1st

POSITION DETAILS for ALL POSITIONS
• Business English and Adult English teaching
• 25-minute one-on-one classes
• Saturday class: Usually 6 hours of teaching or fewer with a 30-minute break in the middle
• Minimal prep time (Professional training system)
• Severance Pay, National pension, and Health insurance provided
• E2 visa sponsored.
• One Saturday per month is mandatory. Each additional Saturday worked will add 150,000 won to your monthly salary.
• **Salary is set, it will not change if you teach fewer classes or if a student is absent**

*FULL-TIME POSITION* [8 hours, split shift, 5 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening]
• 3.30+ million won = base salary of (2.5m) + 2 Saturdays (300k) + housing (500k)
• 3.15+ million won = base salary of (2.5m) + 1 Saturday (150k) + housing (500k)
• 11 days of Paid vacation
• Average 6 - 6.5 teaching hours.

*PART-TIME POSITION* E-2 Visa is sponsored (evening part 4 hours, start time 5 or 6 pm)
• 1.9~ 2.4 million won = base salary of (1.3m) + 2 Saturdays (300k) + housing (300k) +outsourcing + lunch classes
• 5 days of Paid vacation
• Average 3 - 3.5 teaching hours.

• E2 visa sponsored.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THESE POSITIONS
1. Native English speakers with a Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university in a Native English-speaking country.
- University Degree (notarized and authenticated with Apostille)
- Criminal Background Check (notarized and authenticated with Apostille)
2. At least one year of teaching experience
3. Valid Passport from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United States, or the United Kingdom
4. Professional attitude and appearance who can easily talk to older professional Koreans
5. 20 hours of paid training are required before starting work.
6. We prefer to hire teachers who are in Korea.
