Are you more inclined to teach adults rather than children? We are currently seeking part-time native English teachers to instruct SAT & TOFEL in Taoyuan downtown, conveniently located near freeway exits. The Private DC Foreign Language Short term Busiban is in need of additional English teachers.
Requirements include professional work attire, holding an APRC or an ARC via marriage, being from Northern America, currently residing in Taiwan, having experience teaching group classes, and possessing a bachelor or master's degree from specific countries. Previous experience teaching test-preparation classes and presentation prep classes is a plus. While a teaching certificate is preferred, it is not mandatory.
If you have taken the SAT before and are able to teach conversation, writing, reading, or test-preparation classes, we would like to hear from you. Hourly rates are determined by factors such as student level, class subject, class size, teacher experience, and language type. The school is situated in an upscale neighborhood in Taoyuan District, offering a friendly working environment.
If you meet the criteria and are interested, please submit your English resume via email. Please note that applications are only accepted through email. While Chinese ability is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. Work hours are flexible, with daytime and evening shifts available on weekdays, and weekend hours optional. Some class curriculum is provided, but teachers may need to create and provide syllabuses for the classes they teach.

📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in Taiwan: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. However, some schools may still hire teachers who already have a long-term visa. This requirement only applies to teaching English - schools can still hire you for subjects other than English.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
