The English Program at Assumption College Primary Section (Bangkok) is seeking a qualified primary Grade 3 teacher from a native English speaking country to join our friendly, supportive and professional team.
Established since 2002, the strength of our English Program is that our students follow the Cambridge International School curriculum, alongside their Thai subjects. The position available is:
- Primary Grade 3 Homeroom teacher
Applicants should have an ability to inspire young children and be a positive team player. All applicants must have a degree in education or a post graduate teaching certificate (PGCE or equivalent).
The position is available to start from Thursday, 13th July 2023, with the first two days being induction days, and taking over responsibility for the class from Monday, 17th July 2023.
The Grade 3 teacher will teach English, Mathematics, Science and Health to their own homeroom class. They will also be responsible for looking after the welfare of the students in their class.
The initial contract will be until the end of March 2024 and, subject to performance, the contract will be extended for an additional twelve months from that time.
The successful applicants will receive a monthly salary of 83,000 Baht, end of year bonus, health insurance and approximately eleven weeks paid holiday (in a full school year). EP class sizes are 20 students in Grade 1 and 25 students in Grades 2-6.
