We’re a private PYP kindergarten located in Longquanyi District，Chengdu that strives for the very best in education for children aged 3-6. The applicable area for school applications-extends to 9600 square meters. As well as having the best facilities of any Kindergarten in the area, we also have a wide range of outdoor areas (6900square meters of space to be exact) so as to ensure that the children will always find new ways to play, explore, and enjoy themselves. As of now, there are more than a hundred kindergartens and primary-secondary schools located in regions such as Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Hunan, and Guangdong. These institutions serve over 40,000 preschoolers and primary-secondary students, with a staff of over 5,000 educators.

Curriculum structure

Exploratory Theme-Based Teaching Curriculum: It involves children conducting in-depth research around topics of interest from their lives or issues they're curious about, with support from teachers. It's a curriculum reform that shifts from traditional subject-based teaching, fostering a more democratic and collaborative approach to knowledge construction.
STEAM Curriculum:STEAM stands for the integration of these disciplines, where subjects are not isolated or simply added together but closely interconnected. It encourages children to self-discover, explore independently, and engage in hands-on activities. Teachers, based on the developmental stages of children, provide appropriate guidance by prompting questions, making assumptions, assisting with inquiries, recording discoveries, and effectively guiding children in expressing their exploration processes and findings.
Picture Book Reading Curriculum：It encourages children to tell stories based on visual cues, make imaginative guesses about story developments, adapt parts of stories, or continue them. Children are also prompted to express their understanding of pictures and stories through various means like storytelling and drawing. Moreover, it supports children in creating their own stories and illustrated books. Engaging with picture books not only enriches their themes and sustains children's reading interests but also enhances their diverse abilities.
Orff Music Education Curriculum ：Orff music education is an approach that inspires children to enter the world of music through imagination and fantasy. The core philosophy of Orff music education is "process over outcome." The musicality inherent in every child not only ignites their interest and love for music but also leads them to higher-level responses and deeper exploration while experiencing music. This approach truly makes learning music an enjoyable process.
Experimental Painting and Creative DIY Arts and Crafts：Using art education as a vehicle to tap into the creative potential of young children. It shapes the spirit and sensibilities of children within the soil of artistic creation. Through activities like pottery play, ceramics, pottery appreciation, and hand-painted crafts, children cultivate their artistic imagination, creativity, positive character traits, and art appreciation abilities.

Requirements:

1) Candidates from English native speaking country(US,UK,IRE, CAN,AUS etc)

2) Passion for children's education and child development.

3) Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.

4) No criminal record.

5) Teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

6) Eligible for a work z visa

7)2 years teaching experience preferred, IB teaching preferred

Working Conditions &Benefits:

1）Working Schedule:7:40-12:10；14:00-17:30, Monday-Friday

2）Students age and Class Size:3-6/Age group:20-28

3）Three-in-one teaching team, with a dual-class teacher system for both Chinese and English (1 full-time foreign teacher, 2 Chinese teachers, 1 life teacher).

4）Basic Salary: 21K-23KRMB/month (after tax)+housing allowance(1500RMB)

5）Finish contract bouns and renew contract ：3K-6K

6）Medical insurance: Yes

7）Holiday: winter and summer holiday
