The Canadian International School of Thailand, an IB World School offering PYP and MYP programs from PreK3 to Grade 12, is seeking enthusiastic and qualified teachers for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning in August 2026. We are looking for dedicated Science and Math teachers for Grades 6–8 who can engage students with innovative teaching methods and a strong interest or experience in STEM, Robotics, Coding, or Programming.
Requirements:
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., BEd, PGCE, GDipEd, or equivalent from an accredited university)
- Qualified teacher status in your home country
- Native English speaker
Position Available:
- Full-Time Middle School/High School Science and Math Teacher (Grades 6–8)
Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics and Science for Grades 6–8, aligned with the IB MYP framework
- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons promoting conceptual understanding
- Design and implement assessments in accordance with curriculum standards
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with Math and Science departments on curriculum planning
- Integrate technology and STEM approaches into teaching
Preferred Additional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to STEM, Robotics, Programming, or Coding activities
- Support after-school clubs, competitions, or project-based initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Biology, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Valid teaching qualification or license
- Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience
- Experience teaching middle or high school students
- IB MYP experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience or strong interest in STEM, Robotics, Coding, Programming, or Technology Integration
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- EAL experience is an advantage
