Job Description:

Panyadee – The British International School of Samui (PBISS) is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Secondary Business Studies/Economics Teacher to join our team. This full-time position offers a salary of at least ฿62,000 per month and is located in the picturesque setting of Koh Samui, Surat Thani. The start date for this role is August 25, 2025.

We are looking for a passionate educator to teach Business Studies and/or Economics to students from Year 9 through IGCSE and A-Level. This role provides a unique chance to work in Thailand's beautiful island setting while contributing to an innovative and results-oriented educational environment.

Candidates must hold a recognized teaching qualification and possess strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and/or Economics. Experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level is preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent classroom management and communication skills, be committed to student wellbeing, and be enthusiastic about professional development. Familiarity with ICT in education is essential.

Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to a range of student abilities and year groups.
- Support curriculum development and academic interventions as needed.
- Assess and report on student progress in line with school policies.
- Participate actively in co-curricular programs and enrichment activities.
- Engage with parents during meetings and attend school events as required.
- Promote student wellbeing and safeguarding.
