PBISS International School, located in Koh Samui, Surat Thani, is seeking a passionate and committed Secondary Computer Science Teacher to join our esteemed international faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching IGCSE and A-Level Computer Science courses, creating a stimulating and supportive educational environment, and actively engaging with the school community.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess computer science lessons aligned with Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level standards.
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles.
- Develop practical and interactive learning experiences.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations.
- Regularly monitor, evaluate, and report on student progress.
- Offer academic guidance and pastoral support to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage in school activities, including events, meetings, and trips.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvements.
- Uphold professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level Computer Science.
- Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment International Education standards.
- Prior experience in international or multicultural educational settings is advantageous.
Compensation:
- The position offers a salary starting at ฿62,000 per month.
