Korean International School Beijing
Position Available: Secondary School English Teacher (7th – 12th Grade)
Start: 1st March or late August 2023
KISB is a Korean government school servicing the Korean community in Beijing. All students are Korean nationals. Maximum class size is 25. Classes are divided according to English ability. The school is a friendly work environment with students who are motivated and hard-working.
Teachers teach 20 x 45-minute classes per week. Extra classes may be required, for which overtime is paid.
Summer, winter, and Chinese national holidays are all fully-paid (14 weeks total).
A one-month bonus is paid on completion of contract. Cost of visa, comprehensive medical insurance, and daily lunch are all provided by the school. Starting salary is 24,000 RMB/month.
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree
2. CELTA/TESOL/TEFL Certificate or equivalent with at least 120 hours of coursework.
3. Native English speaker
