Job Description:

Yu-Jen is an elementary school looking for Foreign English teachers for the coming new academic year. At the moment opportunities are available in early learner age levels, as well as higher grade levels. Due to expansion, we have multiple openings for the next academic year.

We are a school with a great reputation, excellent benefits, and a positive, professional team. We have paid winter and summer vacations, multiple health insurances (NHI, Labor Insurance, and a private insurance), a strong pension system, contract-completion bonuses, and multiple other benefits. The curriculum is clear and materials are provided to the teacher. The subjects range from Grammar and other literacy subjects, through to arts, music, and clubs.

We are looking for energetic professional teachers, ideally with experience. Character is as important as ability in our team. Background checks and drug tests will need to be provided. If a work permit is needed, applicants need to hold teaching certification from the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, NZ, or RSA. However, permanent residence holders with sufficient teaching experience are also welcome.

We have a newly improved pay structure that rewards qualifications and certain types of previous experience. In the process of our present expansion, we hope to find teachers that will stay with us for a long time. We always start with single year contracts, but we do offer longer term contracts to teachers who fit in well.

We are situated very close to the Tai-Yuan Train Station in the North District of Taichung.
