Job Description: Little Eagles Toddler Program in Yangon is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Toddler Program Coordinator to oversee the implementation and design of our curriculum for toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing an engaging and age-appropriate curriculum, training teachers, actively teaching, ensuring the highest quality of educational standards within the program, and fostering strong relationships with the parent community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Design: Create, develop, and update the curriculum to ensure it meets the developmental needs of toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years.
2. Implementation Oversight: Supervise the implementation of the curriculum across all toddler programs, ensuring consistency and quality.
3. Active Teaching: Participate in classroom teaching to model best practices and support teachers in delivering the curriculum effectively.
4. Teacher Training: Provide comprehensive training and support to teachers on curriculum delivery, classroom management, and child development best practices.
5. Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
6. Program Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments to measure the success and impact of the curriculum on toddler development and learning outcomes.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with parents, caregivers, and other educational staff to foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
8. Parent Community Interaction: Engage with parents through regular communication, meetings, and events to discuss their child's progress and address any concerns. Provide resources and support to parents on how to extend learning at home. Organize workshops and informational sessions for parents to educate them on child development and curriculum goals.
9. Compliance: Ensure that all programs comply with relevant regulations and educational standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education, with a focus on curriculum development, active teaching, and teacher training. Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with staff, parents, and caregivers.
• Desired Skills:
i). Creativity and flexibility in developing engaging and educational activities. ii). Strong analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
• Passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young children.
