EDISEN ACADEMY is currently looking for a 6th-grade teacher to join their team at the Daechi campus in Seoul starting in October 2026. As a teacher in this role, you will be responsible for teaching ESL classes emphasizing reading, writing, and discussions to academically strong students. Additionally, you will lead novel and field-based lessons, manage student homeroom responsibilities, and foster students' writing and speaking skills.
The ideal candidate should be a native English speaker with at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. They must also be eligible for an E-2 visa or hold an F-series visa, possess an apostilled diploma and a clean criminal background check, and be physically and mentally fit to work. Preferred qualifications include experience teaching upper elementary or middle school-level students, proficiency in leading discussion-based classes, strong parent communication skills, and a willingness to commit to long-term employment in Korea.
The working conditions for this position include teaching high-level, academically driven 6th-grade students with a fully provided curriculum. The schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 2:30 PM to 9:50 PM, with 6 teaching hours per day and 1 hour of prep time. The starting salary is 4.3 million KRW per month, with benefits such as coverage under Korea's 4 National Insurances, severance pay, and approximately 21 paid days off per year.
