Job Description:

Elementary English Teacher at CanB Academy, Gimpo

CanB Academy Gimpo Campus is looking for a dedicated Elementary English Teacher to join our team starting in March 2025. This full-time position requires teaching elementary students in small-group settings during afternoon and evening hours. Our campus is situated in the heart of Gimpo, South Korea, a growing city conveniently located just 20 minutes from Seoul. This location offers a quieter lifestyle while maintaining easy access to the vibrant culture and amenities of the capital.

Responsibilities:
- Teach elementary-aged students mainly in the afternoons and evenings.
- Design and deliver engaging lessons to develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Follow the academy's curriculum while incorporating your own creativity and classroom management techniques.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and the school.
- Participate in staff meetings, handle basic administrative tasks, and contribute to occasional school events as needed.

Schedule:
- Start Date: March 2025
- Work Days: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Requirements:
- Native English speaker with a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Eligible for an E-2 visa (citizenship in USA, Canada, or UK) or holds a valid F-series visa.
- Federal apostilled diploma and criminal background check.
- Physically and mentally healthy.
- Comfortable teaching elementary students.
- Available to start in March 2025 and work Monday to Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: 2.5 million KRW per month (negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
- Housing: Studio apartment provided.
- Insurance: Enrollment in the 4 National Insurances.
- Severance Pay: Provided upon completion of the contract.
- Vacation: 11 days of paid vacation plus national holidays.
- Airfare: Reimbursement for one-way airfare for candidates applying from outside Korea.

Visa and Work Permit Information:
- E-2 visa available to qualified native English speakers from approved countries.
- F-series visa holders can work more flexibly and may not require sponsorship.
- Teachers must provide an authenticated bachelor's degree and national criminal background check.
- Medical check in Korea is usually required for visa finalization.
