at Andong National University

1 hour 10 minutes (by bus), 1 hour 20 minutes (by train) away from Daegu
2 hours 40 minutes (by bus), 1 hours 40 minutes (by train) away from Seoul
2 hours 30 minutes (by bus), 2 hours (by train) away from Busan.
Andong National University Language Center (ANULC) is looking for experienced, well-qualified, full-time English instructors for the 2025 academic year.
ANULC is in charge of teaching required freshman English conversation courses as well as a limited number of upper-level and credited courses. The majority of our typical teaching load consists of freshman English courses with several of these aforementioned credited courses. We have vacation programs as well that consist of institute-type courses, a few elementary student camp programs, etc. Our classes are focused on beginner and intermediate levels.

1) Job Description
- Position title: Full-time Native English Instructor (18 teaching hours per week)
- Contract period: 1st March 2025 ~ 28th February 2026 (renewable)
2) Qualifications
- English native speaker (from U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, South Africa) with a BA/BS
- TESOL/CELTA qualification or at least one year teaching experience required
- Those who have teaching experience in Korea are much preferred
- English, English Education and Linguistics majors are preferred
- Master’s degree is preferred
- TOEIC Speaking and Opic exam experience is preferred
3) Benefits
- 6 weeks paid vacation (3 weeks per vacation)

- Housing is available upon request. If housing is not acceptable, there is no housing subsidy.
4) Working Conditions
- Salary: 2.3M won per month (with B.A/B.S., 18 teaching hours per week)
plus editing, work-related responsibilities, and office hours

- A copy of diploma and any academic certificates

- A copy of your Apostilled diploma (if you don’t have an E-2 visa)
- A copy of your Apostilled criminal background check (if you don’t have an E-2 visa)
b. Submit a detailed lesson plan for a 50-minute university conversation class including original worksheets.
c. Submit a sample 15-week syllabus designed for a university-level conversation class.
