ACES English is currently seeking teachers in Taipei, New Taipei, Linkou, and Ilan County.
We offer:
- Initial teaching rate of $1000 per hour ($120,000 monthly based on 28 classroom hours) with annual increases to $1350 per hour ($160,000 monthly based on 28 classroom hours).
- Workload of 16-28 classroom hours per week tailored to your objectives.
- Paid training at $650 per hour.
- Paid national holidays, 2-4+ weeks of paid vacation.
- Profit-sharing program after 3 years.
- Assistance with work permit, health insurance, labor insurance, and pension for those with APRC.
- Stable career with a teacher-owned, foreign-managed institution.
Candidates should:
- Hold a university degree.
- Be a native English speaker from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
- Have intermediate Mandarin proficiency with a willingness to enhance language skills.
- Commit to a minimum of 2 years.
- Have a passion for teaching and a thirst for knowledge.
- Enjoy positively impacting children.
- Exhibit strong moral values.
- Be prepared to undergo an intensive 3-month training.
- Display a high-achieving work ethic.
This is a challenging yet rewarding position at a high-discipline learning center for children aged 7-14. Our focus is on self-discipline, accurate pronunciation, and proper grammar. Mandarin is used in classrooms to facilitate learning and enhance accuracy.
