Job Description:

Hello,

I am representing Pine Tree Academy, a small Canadian-owned English academy located on the outskirts of Seoul in Dasan New City, Namyang-ju. Just a 20-minute drive from Jamsil and ten minutes from Donong Station.

We are searching for an enthusiastic teacher to join us full-time starting March 1st. Our academy focuses on English kindergarten from 10:00 to 2:00 with an hour lunch break, followed by elementary classes from 2:30 to 6:00. Every Friday, we engage in hikes with our kindergarten students and offer special activities like science or cooking after lunch. Additionally, we provide classes like yoga, chess, and games, making it an enjoyable environment for both teachers and students.

Ideal candidates should have a passion for working with children, preferably with kindergarten experience, and be from one of the seven English-speaking countries. While we prioritize applicants already in Korea, we are open to considering overseas candidates if they have the necessary documents, including an apostilled degree and a clean criminal record check. Interviews will be conducted in person in Korea or via Zoom for overseas applicants.

The salary for this position ranges from 2.7 to 3.0 million per month based on experience, with provided housing near Dasan Station and standard benefits. Teachers are entitled to one week off in both summer and winter.

To apply, please send your resume and photo to ivan_milin@hotmail.com or reach out via Kakao at ivan4499. For any inquiries or additional information, feel free to contact us through the provided email address.

We look forward to welcoming an amazing teacher to our team!

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.

📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
