Job Description:

Fifth Wings is seeking 3 competent full-time native English Teachers for a prestigious private junior and senior high school.

We are seeking 3 teachers who are not only experienced in their field but can also bridge a cultural experience between themselves and the students. Teachers will pursue to provide a positive and meaningful learning experience to students which will develop their knowledge of English, confidence in speaking a new language and overall communication skills in a variety of settings.

LOCATION:

(SANO - TOCHIGI PREFECTURE) 5 DAYS / WEEK)

CONTRACT PERIOD:
1 year contract.
Start date is April 2025 and ends March 2026.

PAYMENT:
¥230,000 – ¥250,000 (Depending On Experience) per month before taxes.


WORKING HOURS & SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday (8AM - 5PM) 5 Day work week.
(1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of the month are work days from 8:30AM – 1PM)
3 to 5 lessons on average per day would be typical but could change case by case.

Duties other than teaching.
Preparing materials/tests.
Taking care of extra activities.
Responsible for English Club.
Must be able to work with Japanese teachers effectively.
May need to occasionally work outside of regular hours for school events.

TYPE OF WORK:
Teach English at a private Junior & Senior High School.


REQUIRED:
Teachers with a BA in an English Major highly preferred.
Excellent knowledge and proficiency of office software.
English Teaching experience to Junior High & Senior High School students is a plus.
The applicant needs to have a solid understanding of the English grammar.
TESOL/TEFL/CELTA or any teaching certification preferred.

Applicants must be of sound mental and physical health.
Applicants must not have a criminal record.


VISA:
Company will provide full sponsorship to applicant.
(**Teachers already in Japan will be given highest priority**)


HOLIDAYS:
All Japanese Calendar holidays are paid.
