Kyungbok Elementary School is seeking dedicated English teachers to join their team in Seoul, near Achasan Station. The ideal candidates should be native English speakers with a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English as a second or foreign language. Applicants must hold at least an undergraduate degree and be currently residing in Korea.
Key Details:
- Location: Kyungbok Elementary School (5-minute walk from Achasan station)
- Working days: Monday - Friday
- Working hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with breaks and prep time included
- Student level: Grades 1-6
- Start date: Immediate
Salary & Benefits:
- Monthly payment: 3,400,000 to 4,100,000 won, including a housing allowance
- Teaching load: 22 classes (40 minutes each) per week, with opportunities for additional classes
- Expected annual income: Up to 50,000,000 won
- Additional payments for English camps and completion bonus
- Vacation: 3 weeks each in Summer, Winter, and Spring, with Summer & Winter Camps included
- Medical insurance coverage
Qualifications:
- Native English speaker
- Minimum undergraduate degree
- 2+ years of teaching experience
- Ability to conduct a 10-minute demo lesson during the interview process
- Valid E2, F2, or F4 VISA
- Required documents: university diploma, criminal record check, health check record (in Korea)
Preferences:
- ESL teaching certificates (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA)
- Master’s degree, Bachelor’s degree in Education, or teaching certification
- Experience in private elementary schools
