Job Overview
Position: Kindergarten & Elementary Teacher
Location: Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do (near Seoul)
Start Date: March 2026, with a 2-week training period in February 2026
Daily Schedule:
- Kindergarten homeroom (ages 5–7): 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Elementary / after-school classes:
- Tue & Thu: until 5:30 PM
- Mon, Wed & Fri: until 6:20 PM
- Lesson prep time included in working hours
Salary, Housing & Benefits
- Monthly salary: 2.6M – 3.0M KRW
- Housing Options:
- Free school housing covering rent (450,000–650,000 KRW/month) OR 600,000 KRW housing stipend
- 15+ days of paid vacation per year and standard benefits provided
Requirements
- Native English speaker from USA, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand
- Bachelor’s degree (any major; Education/TESOL preferred)
- Experience with young learners and a positive attitude towards teaching
- Creativity, energy, and strong communication skills
- Applicants with a B.Ed, M.Ed, or TESOL/TEFL plus experience will be considered for the higher end of the salary range
Training & Onboarding (February 2026)
- Approximately 2 weeks of training before the March start
- Training can be online (Zoom) or in person, depending on your location
- Walkthrough of curriculum, daily routines, and classroom systems to ensure readiness and confidence
