Gangnam English Academy is looking to expand its team of dedicated teachers! If you have experience teaching children, are a fluent native English speaker, and have a passion for working with kids, we want to hear from you.

Position: Kindergarten Homeroom/Afterschool Teacher

Location: Apgujeong, Seoul, Korea

Salary: Starting at 3.7 million KRW per month

At Gangnam English Academy, we offer a vibrant and engaging teaching environment, founded by an American and Swedish couple in 2013. Our curriculum focuses on speaking, writing, science, literature, and debate, incorporating plenty of games and activities to make learning fun.

We are currently seeking teachers to join our team, responsible for a kindergarten classroom of 5, 6, or 7-year-olds. Teachers will work from 9:00-2:45 each day with a one-hour lunch break. Additionally, there are opportunities to teach afterschool from 2:45-4:45 to kindergarten and elementary students.

Requirements:

- Experience with teaching children

- Fluent, native English speaker

- Love for kids, positive attitude, and flexibility

- Creative problem-solving skills

- Enthusiastic, fun, and kind personality

In addition to a competitive salary starting at 3.7 million KRW per month, we offer various benefits including health insurance, pension, housing options, and up to 10 million KRW in key money. Teachers also receive one month severance pay at the end of their contract and 11 days of paid time off.
