ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
Daejeon Sahmyook Elementary School is an accredited private school authorized by the Korean Ministry of Education. We focus on character education along with academic excellence. In September 2025, we became a Cambridge International School, KR-228, recognized by Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
THE POSITION:
- Teach English to elementary students following the school curriculum
- 24 teaching periods per week (40 minutes each)
- Student guidance and homeroom-support duties
- Vacation English camps (one week per camp)
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00, weekends free
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Base salary: KRW 2,800,000 - 3,000,000/month before tax, including housing allowance
- Additional allowances: overtime pay and a Cambridge (CIE) program allowance
- Vacation: 5 weeks total, guaranteed
- National health insurance, pension, and more
REQUIREMENTS:
- Citizen of specific countries
- Bachelor's degree
- TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification
- Clean criminal background check
PREFERRED:
- Teaching license
- Experience in teaching at a private elementary school in Korea
