If you're an energetic and friendly teacher who loves working with younger students, we want you at California Language Center! We are looking for someone to teach 1st to 3rd graders, K2, and teens.
Experienced teachers are preferred, but what matters most to us is your positive energy and friendliness. We will provide training, but a genuine love for children is essential to becoming a beloved teacher.
We offer a NT$10,000 SIGNING BONUS and NT$850/hour TO START, with guaranteed hours and raises. We currently have two Full-Time positions available.
The positions require Afternoons & Evenings, Mondays - Fridays, with Saturdays being optional. One position is in New Taipei City (Linkou MRT), and the other is in Taipei City (Shipai MRT).
You can expect a guaranteed 25 hrs/week OR MORE if you're willing to work, with a starting pay of NT$850 per hour. We offer frequent raises and use American elementary school textbooks for Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science.
Our classes have an average size of 8-10 students, and we provide ARC, work permit, work insurance, and health insurance. Paid training is also included.
California Language Center has been operating since 2002 and offers an excellent work environment. The Linkou school, located near Carrefour, outlet stores, gyms, and swimming pools, is ideal for dedicated teachers.
At our center, everyone speaks English, so you won't have to worry about any language barriers. To apply for an interview, please send your resume and cover letter to clclkfs2020@gmail.com. Come join our team!

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.
📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in Taiwan: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. However, some schools may still hire teachers who already have a long-term visa. This requirement only applies to teaching English - schools can still hire you for subjects other than English.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
