Located in Taipei, Taiwan, Alphaville American School is renowned for providing a holistic early childhood and elementary education in an American-style learning setting, focusing on immersive English learning experiences rather than traditional ESL practices.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with young learners (K–G6) and are committed to fostering confidence, communication, curiosity, and creativity in students, going beyond mere language proficiency.
As part of our team, your responsibilities will include teaching English to Kindergarten–Grade 6 students, creating a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere, using English as the primary language of instruction, and promoting communication, creativity, and authentic language use.
We offer a competitive salary ranging from NT$750 to NT$850 per hour, with a performance bonus of NT$30,000 upon contract completion. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with approximately 15 teaching hours per week.
Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a teaching certificate preferred but not required. A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience is necessary, and native English speakers are preferred. Work eligibility in Taiwan is a must.

📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in Taiwan: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. However, some schools may still hire teachers who already have a long-term visa. This requirement only applies to teaching English - schools can still hire you for subjects other than English.
