Hansung University in Seoul, South Korea, is looking for a dedicated native English-speaking instructor to join their team in the department of General English Education. This full-time teaching position (non-tenure track) will commence in March 2026. Here are the details: - Qualifications: Applicants must hold an MA or higher degree, have a minimum of 2 years of university teaching experience, and preference will be given to those with language education majors or TESOL specialists. - Contract Period: The position is for one year, from March 1st, 2026, to Feb 28th, 2027, with the possibility of renewal. - Teaching Obligation: The successful candidate will be required to teach a minimum of 15 lecture hours per week, with additional responsibilities such as teaching non-credit enrichment classes, student counseling, committee work, and attending faculty meetings. - Payment: The monthly salary is 2,800,000 KRW before tax, with allowances for medical insurance, a private school annuity, and compensation for extra work. - Housing: Free housing (excluding utilities) may be provided if available, otherwise a housing subsidy of 300,000 KRW will be given. - Vacation: Paid vacation aligning with academic breaks.
