Lex Kim English Seeks Professional North American Educators
We are looking for full-time professional teachers who are interested in challenging our highly motivated and academically advanced students. We are seeking applicants who are creative, organized, collaborative, and practice strong time management.
Lex Kim English offers language enhancement courses in reading, writing, grammar, and speech/debate to advanced students from Grades 1-6. All of our students are highly fluent in English and work together to pursue global mindedness. All classes are conducted exclusively in English, and class sizes are no larger than 10 students. Due to the advanced level of curriculum taught to our students, particularly in grammar and debate, applicants must be adaptable and willing to study new material.
Professional attire is required.
Workplace Information:
Located in Gangnam, Seoul
Start Date: March 2025 or April 2025 (or ASAP)
3,200,000-3,400,000 KRW/month, negotiable depending on experience
Dinner stipend of 200,000 KRW/month
Daily Schedule for Monday through Friday (12:50 - 9:10 pm):
Prep time: 3 hours
Teaching: 4 hours
Dinner: 50 minutes
Requirements:
Native English speaker (residing in the United States or Canada for at least 15 years)
Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Education, English, or a related field)
One year commitment
Housing:
Located in Gangnam (Seolleung Station)
Within 20-minute walking distance of school
Within 5-minute walking distance of Subway Line Number 2
Fully furnished studio apartment that includes a Western-style bathroom, dedicated kitchen space, a queen-size bed, spacious storage, a couch, and a TV.
