Dear, Potential Teachers
I am a Principal of Francis Parker Dongtan branch. I wanted to personally reach out to let you know that I am looking to hire a teacher who will not only be a great fit for our team but also someone who shares my vision for a positive, supportive, and communicative work environment. As a leader, I have received feedback from my colleagues that I am approachable, a strong communicator, and a positive leader. I believe that working with great colleagues is key, but the kind of leader you work with is just as important.
I always strive to be proactive and hands-on in addressing any concerns or challenges that arise, especially when it comes to supporting our native teachers. Even if we have a head teacher in place, I am always available to directly assist and help resolve any issues that may come up.
It’s rare for a school director to personally post a job opening, but I wanted to take this opportunity to reach out and let you know that I’m eager to find a teacher who is not only skilled but also excited to learn and grow alongside us. If you have any questions or hesitations before applying, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m always happy to chat.
Please note that since I typically respond after work hours, there may be a slight delay in my response (usually within a day), and I kindly ask for your patience.
Allow me to share some of the key reasons why working at FrancisParker is an excellent choice:
Great Curriculum and Resources: We have a well-structured curriculum and a wealth of teaching materials, which makes lesson planning and preparation much easier for our teachers.
Diverse Operations: FrancisParker has 27 locations across the country, each managed by its own director and owner. While we share a common educational approach, each location has its own operational systems, teacher management, and work conditions, allowing us to offer a unique and supportive work environment.
Ideal Teaching Environment: Our center is a new facility opening this year with small class sizes, usually around 5 students per class, which creates a great teaching environment.
Positive Work Culture: We have already opened two classes in January, and currently, we have two native-speaking teachers on staff. If you're interested, we can arrange an interview with them so you can hear directly from your colleagues about the working conditions.
My Experience as a Teacher: Having worked as a teacher for many years, I understand the importance of offering excellent treatment to our native teachers for the stability of the center. I am confident that after speaking with me, you’ll see why our school is a place you’d want to work.
Additionally, I’d like to share a little about the area of Dongtan, which is often not as well-known. The transportation here is excellent. Right in front of our school, there are two buses that go directly to Gangnam Station and Maeheon Citizens’ Park Station. Just enjoy some music on the bus, and before you know it, you’ll be in Gangnam. Dongtan Station is home to a large shopping mall and train station, providing easy access to travel within Korea. The subway from Dongtan also connects you to anywhere in Seoul very quickly.
Our school is also located near a small stream and park, perfect for walks or cycling. About 10 minutes away, there’s a large lake, great for walking, and surrounded by delicious restaurants, making it a lively area to live in. I’m confident that once you spend a month in Dongtan, you’ll fall in love with the area.
We believe that FrancisParker offers a unique, supportive, and enriching environment for teachers. If you’d like to discuss more or have any questions, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
