Korea Defense Language Institution (KDLI) is on the lookout for 4 English Instructors in Icheon, Gyeonggi.
About KDLI:
KDLI is a vital part of the Joint Forces Military University, focusing on language education and research. They aim to equip the Korean military with essential communication skills, creativity, and critical thinking to thrive in the global landscape. Faculty members at KDLI are dedicated professionals from diverse backgrounds who engage students in language immersion.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and provide English instruction that meets KDLI standards.
- Develop lesson plans using various teaching techniques.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student growth.
- Manage classroom behavior and learning time effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an English-speaking country for non-Korean applicants.
- Master's degree or higher with residence experience for Korean applicants.
- Preference for applicants with relevant degrees, teaching certificates, teaching experience, military background, and published articles.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate of 35,000 won per teaching hour.
- Regular teaching hours from Mon to Fri with tutoring sessions.
- Provided housing, unpaid and paid vacation, national pension, and health insurance.
