Kindergarten & Elementary Homeroom Teacher Position at GCIS
GCIS (Global Christian International School), offering an American-style curriculum from Pre-K through Grade 12, is seeking dedicated Kindergarten & Elementary Homeroom Teachers for its campuses in Dongtan (Hwaseong) and Gwanggyo (Suwon), South Korea. The position is full-time and will commence in March 2026.

Locations:

Position Details:
- Role: Kindergarten & Elementary Homeroom Teacher
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Working Hours: 09:00–17:50 (Kindergarten), with similar hours for Elementary positions
- Teaching Hours: Approximately 26 per week
- Start Date: March 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a homeroom teacher, creating a safe and engaging classroom environment.
- Develop and implement curricula and lesson plans that align with GCIS academic standards.
- Assign meaningful homework and provide constructive feedback.
- Design assessments to foster critical thinking and creativity.
- Integrate character education and global awareness in lessons.
- Communicate effectively with parents on student progress.
- Prepare detailed termly progress reports and report cards.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
Visa & Work Permit:
- E-2 (Foreign Language Instructor) visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates.
- Applicants from designated English-speaking countries (USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa) preferred.
- Required documents include a notarized and apostilled bachelor's degree, national criminal background check, and health check upon arrival.

Requirements:
- Eligible to work in South Korea (E-2 or F-series visa holder).
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in education-related fields).
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in Kindergarten or Elementary settings.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Preferred: Valid teaching license or certification, experience in international or bilingual schools.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: 2.5–2.9 million KRW per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Housing: School-provided housing or allowance of 500,000 KRW per month.
