Job Description:

GEM ACADEMY is seeking Kindergarten English Native Teachers for their Brand New School located in Gangnam, Seoul. The school is set to open in March 2026 with pre-launch classes scheduled for December 2025. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for children aged 5-7

- Ensure classroom safety, establish routines, and provide positive behavior support

- Attend weekly planning meetings and share class updates with parents

Qualifications:

- Previous experience with young learners and strong classroom management skills are preferred

- Comfortable with hands-on, outdoor learning, and Project-Based Learning (PBL) approaches

- Visa sponsorship is available

Requirements:

- Must currently be in Korea

- Native English speaker with a valid passport from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or Early Childhood Education is preferred

- Must have a clean national criminal record with Apostille or certification from the Korean Consulate

Offer:

- Monthly salary of 2.5M KRW+ (Plus Housing Allowance)

- Coverage for 4 national insurances

- Summer/Winter Vacation time plus 5 additional days off

- Severance bonus provided after one year of employment

Location / Start / Hours:

- Location: GEM Kindergarten, Gaepo Xi Residence Apt., 14 Samseong-ro, Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul

- Start Date: mid-November onwards

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00-18:00
