Full-Time Native English Teacher - Cheonan
English Born Academy in Buldang-dong, Cheonan, South Korea, is seeking a dedicated and reliable native English teacher to join our team. This full-time position involves teaching elementary and middle school students in a dynamic and communicative learning environment at a reputable private academy.
Key Details:
- Location: Buldang-dong, Cheonan, South Korea
- Start Date: March 2, 2026
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM, with an additional 5-hour class on the third Saturday of each month.
- Salary: 2.8 million KRW per month (negotiable based on experience)
- Housing: Provided (single or shared housing depending on availability)
- Benefits: National health insurance, national pension contributions, and paid vacation (1 week in summer and 1 week in winter) with Korean national holidays off.
Responsibilities include teaching English to elementary and middle school students using a student-centered approach, preparing and delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress and providing feedback, maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere, and participating in staff meetings and training.
Candidates must be native English speakers from a visa-eligible nationality, possess a bachelor’s degree, and be willing to work Monday–Friday afternoons/evenings and the third Saturday each month. Teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must arrive in Korea at least one week before March 2, 2026, for a one-week paid training period.
Visa requirements include eligibility for an E-2 (Foreign Language Instructor) visa or F-series visa, with specific documentation such as a recognized bachelor’s degree, a clean national-level criminal background check, and a health check in Korea.
