Joe's English Academy in Uiwang, Gyeonggi-do is looking for a full-time Native English Teacher to begin in September 2026. We have a solid reputation for providing a fun and caring learning environment for elementary students. Our academy, co-owned by a British/Korean couple, emphasizes smooth communication and creativity within our established curriculum.
Located in Uiwang, Poil-dong, we are easily accessible from Indeogwon and Pyeongchon stations, suitable for commuters from Seoul and nearby areas.
POSITION:
- Teaching hours: MWF 2:30-7:00, TT 3-7
- Working hours: MWF 12:30-7:00, TT 1-7 (with the possibility of a later prep start time)
- Students: Elementary, Class size: Max 8
- Class type: Phonics/speaking/reading/writing/basic grammar
- Class materials provided with some planning required
- Minimal admin work
PAY AND BENEFITS:
- Salary: 2.3-2.6m KRW per month plus 400,000 KRW housing stipend
- 15 days vacation plus red days, Severance pay
- 50:50 Insurance and pension per Korean law

- Be a native English speaker from the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
- Be energetic, able to connect with students of varying levels
- Have strong communication skills
