SKT International School in Myanmar is looking for Native English Teachers for Primary and Secondary levels to start full-time employment on May 26, 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Teach oral and written English using the Cambridge International English as a First Language curriculum.
- Maximum of 20 clock hours (or 30 teaching hours of 40 minutes each) per week.
- Supervise, protect, and care for all children.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities to support individual needs and independence.
- Engage in constructive communication with team members, children, and parents.
- Evaluate student progress and provide guidance for improvement.
- Participate in school-organized social activities with students.
- Respect and value each child’s background, promoting mutual respect and tolerance.
- Teach according to the school’s policies and guidelines.
- Provide planning documents with specific learning objectives, tasks, accommodations, activities, and assessments.
- Demonstrate good classroom practice and varied teaching styles.
- Support students needing extra help in learning English.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the relevant levels.
- Strong knowledge of curricula and teaching skills.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment is advantageous.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative work and organizational skills.
