🔹 About Pagoda
At Pagoda, you will be teaching adult students aged 20 and above who are professional and highly motivated. You will receive comprehensive training with modern materials and have opportunities for career growth, including paths to senior and managerial roles. Our academy provides English-speaking administrative and HR support and boasts a diverse, international teaching team. You will only teach during scheduled classes with minimal administrative duties such as sales, consultations, or phone teaching.
📚 Position Details
As a 1:1 teacher, you will have a contract duration of 3 to 12 months, renewable based on performance. The locations available are Seoul or Busan with a block shift schedule of up to 40 hours per week, where senior teachers typically teach 34–38 hours per week with split-shift bonuses available.
✅ Requirements
To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree, possess an apostilled diploma and background check, have an E2 or F visa (in Korea preferred), and demonstrate native or near-native English fluency.
💰 Salary & Housing — PagodaOne (1:1 Class)
For full-time employees on an E2 visa, the monthly base salary ranges from ₩2,500,000 to ₩3,200,000, with hourly rates between ₩20,000 and ₩33,000, adjusted based on performance reviews. Housing support is provided based on your location, with different options available in Seoul and Busan.
For freelance teachers with an F visa, service rates vary by performance level, offering high earning potential. Levels and contract terms are reviewed every 6 months, with adjustments based on your performance.
