Job Description:
PEAP Academy is currently looking to fill two full-time English instructor positions at their Hanlim Campus in Seoul. The academy is dedicated to providing an open education system that focuses on academic progression and career development. Over the past 15 years, a significant percentage of students who attended universities in the U.S. through the IEEA Global Campus have graduated with outstanding grades and successfully pursued their desired professional paths.
Job Descriptions:
- Position: Full-Time English Instructor
- Location: 172 Chungmin‑ro, Songpa‑gu, Seoul, South Korea
- Starting Date: Beginning of March
- Duration: 6 months or 1 year (renewable)
- Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Teaching Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:50 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 3:10/3:55 PM
- Student Grade Level: High School Graduates/High School
- Monthly Pay: Starting from 2.6M salary + 500,000 housing allowance
- Benefits: Pension, health insurance, severance, and paid leave/vacation days (15 days + additional days)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years teaching experience in hakwons or international schools in Korea
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Proficiency in teaching English grammar, reading, writing, and listening & speaking to EFL students
- Experience teaching high school and college-level math courses
- Experience with Advanced Placement (AP) courses
Qualifications & Requirements:
- E-2 or F-visa (native English speaker)
- Bachelor's degree or above from specific English-speaking countries
- Clean criminal record from home country
Responsibilities include teaching based on the established curricula, grading assignments, quizzes, and tests, reporting daily notes, and recording online lectures.
