Job Description:

PBISS International School, located in the picturesque island of Koh Samui, Surat Thani, is currently seeking a dedicated and well-qualified Secondary Science Teacher. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of at least ฿62,000 per month. We are looking for a candidate who can teach Science from lower secondary (Year 7) to IGCSE, and potentially at A level. A specialization in Physics is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in various school activities, including enrichment programs, curriculum development, and examination administration.
- Teach Science across various age groups and ability levels, supporting both advanced and challenged students.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to enhance your professional practice.
- Adhere to school policies on assessment, reporting, and attend parent meetings.
- Participate actively in the co-curricular life of the school.
- Ensure the safeguarding of all students.
- Tutor students, focusing on their academic progress and well-being.
- Support educational and pastoral initiatives, becoming familiar with students.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Possess an Education Degree or a degree with a recognized teaching qualification.
- Passionate about Science with the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships within the school community.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.
- Openness to innovative teaching methods and assessment approaches.
- Strong ICT skills and a willingness to integrate technology into teaching.
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and written forms.
