My name is Carol Kim, and I represent Disciple International Christian School in Oksanmyeon, Cheongju. We are searching for a sincere Christian teacher starting in August 2025. Here is some essential information about the position:
1. School Information:
- Located in Oksanmyeon, Cheongju, Chungcheongbukdo, South Korea
- Church-supported Christian school focusing on nurturing future Christian leaders
- All teachers and students are Christians
- Utilizes Bob Jones University Press textbooks
2. Working Conditions:
- Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30am to 4:30pm
- Maximum class size of 8 students
- Required attendance at weekly staff meetings and school events
- E-2 Visa provided
- Monthly payment of 2,200,000Won
- One-way airfare
- Provided Housing, Health insurance, and National pension
- 5 weeks of summer vacation, 2 weeks of winter vacation, 1 week of spring vacation
- Renewable contract after one year
3. Qualifications:
- Genuine Christian
- Holds a BA/BS degree, particularly in History/English/Elementary Education
- Passion for working with children
- Teaching experience is desirable
4. Required Documentation:
- Resume with a recent photo
- Letter of self-introduction
- Graduation certificate and transcripts from undergraduate/graduate schools
- Reference from the current church or name of the attending church
- Copy of passport/alien registration card
