Scheduled preparation time

Designated office hours

Curriculum and teaching support

Professional development opportunities, including workshops, training, and guest lectures

Working With Us

We value open communication, teamwork, and mutual respect.

We understand that teachers have lives outside school. Whenever possible, we aim to handle work during working hours and respect personal time after work.

As our bilingual junior high school program grows, teachers will have opportunities to contribute ideas and help shape the curriculum.

Recruitment Process

Initial Screening: We review your CV, teaching experience, qualifications, and professional background.

Interview & Teaching Assessment: Selected candidates will be invited to an interview, which may include a teaching demonstration and/or lesson plan walkthrough.

Result: We normally provide interview results within one week. Candidates may request constructive feedback where possible.

An interview works both ways. We are getting to know you, but you are also deciding whether Fuhwa is the right school for you.

πŸ“Œ You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in Taiwan: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. However, some schools may still hire teachers who already have a long-term visa. This requirement only applies to teaching English - schools can still hire you for subjects other than English.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
