Job Description:

Full-time Native English Teaching Position for a private elementary school located in downtown Seoul (Employment Period: the 2nd semester of the 2026 school year)

2. Location: near Line 5 (purple line) Seodaemun St.
(Address: 10, Kyonggidae-ro 9-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul)

3. Eligibility
a) a citizen of a country where English is the primary language, and meet one of the following:
Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, or South
Africa
b) Bachelor’s degree in any field PLUS a TESOL/TEFL/CELTA (min. of 100 hrs) Certificate
c) Bachelor's degree with majors related to English teaching (Education / English Literature /
English Language / Linguistics / TESOL / Second Language Studies / Other teaching-related
majors)
d) Valid Elementary, Middle, or Secondary School Teacher’s License/Certificate

4. Working Condition
a) Contract Period: From August 10, 2026, to February 28th, 2027
b) Salary: 2,990,130 KRW monthly
-Gross salary, including the employee's contribution to the four major social insurance
programs
-four major social insurance programs provided
-E-2 visa sponsorship available
-Accommodation and housing allowance are not provided
-The regular salary paid during the winter vacation
(winter vacation period: January 11, 2027 - February 28, 2027c)
c) Working Days and Hours
-8:00am to 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday
-28 lessons a week (including after-school classes)
-Class Size & Class Hour: Max 10 Students / 1 Class (40min)
d) Vacation: January 11, 2027 – February 28, 2027 + National Holidays
-Remote (work-from-home) duties during the vacation period will include curriculum research
and material preparation. Attendance is required at any school event, meeting days, or
preparation days for the new school year.

e) Job Responsibilities
-plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons to 1st-, 2nd-, and 5th-grade elementary students
-prepare teaching materials and resources
-prepare and administer tests and examination papers
-Monitor student progress, maintain performance records, and provide feedback
-attend and contribute to teaching staff meetings
-support and participate in special school events related to English education
※ The above conditions are subject to change upon agreement between the employer and
employee.

5. Application

2) Copy of the passport and Alien Registration Card (ARC)
3) Copy of academic transcript
4) Copy of the employment/career certificate (if applicable)
5) Copy of a valid teaching license or TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certificate (if applicable)

6. Application Procedure
a) Step 1: Application review
- A limited number of applicants will receive an invitation for an interview on June 29, 2026
b) Step 2: Interview and demo lesson
- Date: Wednesday, July 1, 2026
(For teachers who are currently employed, the interview/evaluation may be scheduled on
July 2(Thu) or July(Fri) upon prior arrangement.)
- Time: 3:30 pm ~
- The school will contact prospective candidates to schedule an interview and a demo lesson
※ 10-minute demo lesson :
- Target students: 5th-grade students
- English proficiency of the students: mixed-level
- Topic of the lesson: It will be provided to the applicants who have been selected for an
interview by e-mail.
- A lesson plan should be prepared to go with the lesson.
c) The final announcement of accepted candidates:
- The accepted candidates will receive a final announcement individually.
- The final selection is made by Written Review (50 pts.) / Interview & Demo Lesson (50 pts.)
