Are you an experienced educator looking for a new opportunity at an international school in Hsinchu County? The Hsinchu County American School is seeking a dedicated Upper Elementary teacher to join their team.
If you have a Master's in education or a related field, that's great. However, if you hold a bachelor's degree and have over 3 years of teaching experience or relevant field experience, you are also eligible to apply.
We are looking for someone who is familiar with the Wonders program and Standards-Based Grading, able to work effectively with teaching assistants, and proficient in English communication.
The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and have a growth mindset. They should have a good understanding of child development, emotional intelligence, and the importance of transparency in an international education context.
Key responsibilities include ensuring child protection and safety, revising curriculum using the Understanding by Design planning approach, attending meetings to collaborate on lesson planning, updating gradebooks regularly, providing constructive feedback to students, and using assessment data to inform teaching.
