Title: Civil Engineering Instructor Start Date: September 2025 Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Doctorate in Civil Engineering or a related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching or professional experience in civil engineering Age Limit: Under 60 years old Health: Must be in good health Character & Skills: Passionate about teaching and dedicated to student success Open-minded, friendly, and approachable Strong communication skills and adaptability to a multicultural environment Interest in Chinese culture and language Additional Requirement: No criminal record,able to provide required document for z visa process Responsibilities: Teaching Load: 16 classroom hours per week Additional Duties: Office hours, after-class programs, and other related academic responsibilities Compensation & Benefits: Salary: 18,000 RMB per month (negotiable based on qualifications) Airfare Allowance: 10,000 RMB (round-trip ticket) Living Allowance: 400 RMB per year Travel Allowance: 1,100 RMB per semester Contract Renewal Bonus: 1,500 RMB per year, plus a 1,500 RMB reimbursement for domestic travel Paid Holidays: Summer and winter breaks, Christmas, and all Chinese national holidays Contract Renewal Perk: Full salary paid during the summer vacation if the contract is extended Housing & Accommodation: Free furnished apartment (one-bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom) Included amenities: Heating, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, washing machine, furniture, kitchen utensils, and a shower-equipped bathroom
