Summary
We are in search of an English teacher to join Sogang University. The position involves enhancing the English skills of high school graduate students, focusing on speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Lesson materials will be provided, and teachers have the freedom to adjust them as needed.
Job Description
Position: Part-time English Teacher
Location: Sogang University Sinchon, Seoul
Starting Date: April 2025
Working Hours: [Spring Term March 17 – June 19]
Monday 11:00-13:00 (2 h)
Tuesday 16:30-17:30 (1 h)
Friday 9:30-12:30 (3 h)
*Summer and Fall Term schedule TBD
Number of Students: ~15-20 per class
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Payment: ₩40,000 Won per hour
General Requirement
- Native English speaker from an English-speaking nation
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an English-speaking nation
- Currently in Korea on a valid working visa (E2 or F2, F5, F6)
*This position does not provide visa sponsorship
Priority Given To Those
- Bilingual in English and Korean
- Already residing in Korea
- Hold a degree in education
- Teaching experience in Korea
