ABOUT THE SCHOOL:

Kwangwoon Elementary School, situated in central Seoul, provides a structured teaching environment with a focus on student development. The school maintains a caring, tight-knit atmosphere among faculty while following national academic standards.

JOB DETAILS:

Position Type: Full-time English teacher (no kindergarten or homeroom roles)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Teaching Hours: 20 classes/week (40 minutes each)

Salary: 3.45 Million Total (2.45 million KRW/month base + 600,000 KRW/month housing stipend + 400,000 KRW/month after-school pay)

After-school: 2 classes per week, conducted during the normal school day

Vacation: 6 weeks of paid vacation + all Korean public holidays

Visa Support: E-2 sponsorship available. F-visa holders welcome

Airfare: Not included

Housing: Stipend provided

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Native English speaker from eligible countries

- Bachelor's degree

- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience

- Eligible for an E-2 visa or currently holding an F-visa

PREFERRED:

- Degree in Education, English, or related field

- TESOL/TEFL certification (100+ hours)

- Previous experience at private elementary or international schools

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Deliver engaging English lessons

- Create a positive classroom environment

- Monitor student progress and provide feedback

- Collaborate with teachers and contribute to curriculum development

- Participate in meetings, events, and PD activities

INTERVIEW & DEMO:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and demo lesson. Applicants outside Seoul can submit a teaching video.
