Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified English teacher who enjoys working with students. This is a full-time teaching position starting in March 2025.

★ Details:
1. School Type: Private Elementary School
2. Location: Seoul Seodaemun-gu, Bukahyeon-dong, Chugye Elementary School
(subway line 2, near Sinchon, Ewha and Yonsei Univ)
* Address: 서울특별시 서대문구 북아현로 11가길 7 추계초등학교
3. Position: a Full-Time English Teacher (one-year contract)
4. Start Date : March 2025 (one or two orientation days during February)
5. Work Days & Hours: Monday- Friday (8:30am~4:30pm)
6. Class Size& Class Hour: Max 15 students / 1 class (40 min.)
7. Salary: Starting from 2.8 million won(KRW)/month (around 22 lessons per week)
8. Severance Pay: 1 month's salary upon successful completion of every year
9. Vacation: paid vacation (summer/ winter vacation) set by school + national holidays
* If there is a two-week camp during summer and winter vacation, extra pay will be added.
10. Accommodation: Not provided
11. 4 Insurance: Covered (Health Care, National Pension, Industrial Accident Insurance, Employment Insurance)

★ Qualification/ Requirements:
1) Native English Speaker holding a valid passport from English spoken countries
*Applicants should reside in Korea in the PRESENT time.
2) English: BA, MA/ Certified Teacher/ English major preferred
3) Dedicated, passionate, and responsible/ Ability to teach all levels of English
(reading, grammar, speaking, and writing-editing, providing feedback)
Well-organized/ Able to multi-task/ Willing to plan and collaborate with other teachers
Maintain good communication with students and other teachers.
4) Have no criminal record
5) Teaching experience required
