Job Description:

Hello, This is Pine Tree Academy, a small Canadian-owned English academy located on the outskirts of Seoul in Dasan New City, Namyang-ju, just 20 minutes from Jamsil and ten minutes from Donong Station. We are seeking a dynamic teacher who loves working with children to join our team starting either on May 1st or June 1st. Our academy operates an English kindergarten from 10:00 to 2:00 with an hour-long lunch break, followed by elementary classes from 2:30 to 6:00. Every Friday, we enjoy hiking with our kindergarten students and engage in special post-lunch activities like science experiments or cooking sessions. Additionally, we offer yoga, chess, and game classes to make learning fun for our students. We are looking for a teacher with kindergarten teaching experience preferably from one of the seven English-speaking countries. While we prefer candidates already in Korea, we are open to considering applicants from overseas if they have all the necessary documents, including an apostilled degree and a clean criminal record check. Interviews will be conducted in person in Korea or via Zoom for candidates abroad. The salary for this position ranges from 2.7 to 3.1 million per month depending on experience, with provided housing next to Dasan station and standard benefits. Teachers enjoy one week off in summer and one in winter. If you are enthusiastic about teaching and working with children, please send your resume and a photo to ivan_milin@hotmail.com. You can also reach out to me via Kakao at ivan4499 for any additional information or inquiries. We look forward to welcoming a new member to our friendly team at Pine Tree Academy.

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.

📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
