Kindergarten & Elementary English Teacher – Songpa, Seoul
A foreigner-owned English academy located in Songpa, Seoul is seeking a dedicated and creative full-time English teacher to join our team starting March 2026. Location:
Songpa is a lively district in southeastern Seoul, renowned for its family-friendly atmosphere, parks, and proximity to major attractions such as Lotte World Tower and Olympic Park. The area provides excellent public transportation facilities, a variety of cafes and restaurants, and a welcoming lifestyle for newcomers.
Position Details:
- Teach English to kindergarten and elementary students.
- Develop engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with both foreign and Korean staff.
- Help students explore different cultures through English.
Working Hours:
- Standard hours: 8:40 a.m. – 5:40 p.m.
- Maximum 30 teaching hours per week.
- Lunch break provided (teachers do not eat with the students).
Visa and Work Permit:
Most ESL teachers in South Korea work under an E-2 visa. Requirements include citizenship from an approved English-speaking country, a four-year bachelor’s degree, a criminal background check with apostille, and a health check upon arrival in Korea. Candidates already in Korea on a valid visa may transfer sponsorship based on Korean immigration regulations.

Salary & Benefits:
- Salary up to 2.9 million KRW per month (negotiable based on experience).
