Job Description:

DIRECT HIRE- 100% No Franchise schools – Only YBM Education HQ owned and operated - 2.90 - 3.30 million w/Housing or 3.50 - 3.90 million - 9:00 am to 4:30/5:00 pm – Quality Teaching over Quantity - 22-23 teaching hours per week - 3 Session Breaks in 2025 - Central Seoul locations in Gangnam, Seocho, Daechi, Apgujeong, Jamsil and Hannam/Yongsan – March 4th 2025

YBM GATE Locations & Working Hours 9am- 5pm Mon to Fri (Teachers leave at 5:00 pm)
Apgujeong cGATE: Gangnam, Seoul near Garosul-gil and Apgujeong stn.
Jamsil cGATE: within walking distance to Jamsil stn, Lotte World, Seokchon Lake Park
Apgujeong GATE: Gangnam, Seoul within just 2 min walk/Apgujeong stn.
Daechi GATE: Gangnam, Seoul short walk from Hanti station and also walkable from Yeoksam stn.
Hannam GATE: within 5 min walking distance to Hangangjin and Itaewon subway stn.
Seocho GATE: Gangnam, Seoul within walking distance from Gangnam stn & 교대 stn.

Applicants with verifiable relevant teaching experience/qualifications will receive the following salary range.

*GATE Homeroom Teacher Positions: 2.90 to 3.30 million won with provided housing by employer or employee can choose the non-housing stipend option and receive 600,000 won on top of your monthly salary listed above (Total- 3.50 to 3.90 million won)
*GATE Special Subject Positions: 2.70 to 3.00 million won with housing or choose the non-housing stipend option and receive 600,000 won on top of your monthly salary listed above (Total-3.30 to 3.60 million won)

Most positions are homeroom classroom positions to young children and some positions are unique specific special subject positions with your own classroom.
Each GATE location also employees the following special subject non-homeroom teachers:
Art Special Subject: Carrying out art related projects/crafts in your own classroom
Discovery Special Subject: Explore/teach imaginative & unique concepts through experiments
Musical/Drama Special Subject: Carrying out musical drama performances with your own classroom
Social Studies, Creativity, Leadership, Physical Education special positions as well





YBM PSA: Working Hrs.9am - 4:30pm-Able to leave for home
*PSA Homeroom Position Salary with School Provided Housing: 2.60 to 3.00 million won or
employee can choose the non-housing stipend option and receive 600,000 won on top of your monthly salary listed above (Total - 3.20 to 3.60 million won) Applicants with verifiable relevant teaching experience/qualifications will receive the following salary range.

Most positions are homeroom classroom positions to young children and some positions are non-homeroom special subject positions referred to as C&D-Creativity and Discovery.

Apgujeong PSA: Gangnam, Seoul just 2 min walk from Apgujeong station near Han River Park.
Gaepo PSA: Gangnam, Seoul 5 min walk/Guryong stn, largest ESL school in Gangnam.
Mokdong PSA: Western Seoul near Sinjeong-negeori station green line 2.
Seocho PSA: Gangnam, Seoul Between Yangie & Nambu Terminal stn and walkable to Gangnam stn.
Yongsan PSA: Near Itaewon/HBC within 6 min walk of Noksapyeong stn.
Bundang PSA: Within 1 min walk to Jeongja stn which is just a 15 min subway to Gangnam stn.
Busan PSA: Haeundae, Busan within the Centum City Mall itself connected to Centum City stn.

*11 days of weekday vacations for first year employees and at least 15 days for 2nd year continuing employees. All National Korean holidays off including newly created Korean holidays with no makeup classes on weekends in lieu of these holidays.

March 2025 YBM PINE Division Session Break
Summer Session Break: July 26, 2025 until Aug 3rd, 2025 off
Chusok holiday Sesson Break: Oct 3rd, 2025 until Oct 12th, 2025 off
Winter Session Break: Dec 25th, 2025 until Jan 4th, 2026 off

*Up to 50% off for YBM Korean Language Lessons as an employee of YBM.
*Free Quality Lunch and snacks are provided with no additional costs.
*Will not be required to do any EXTRA WORK OR ATTEND RANDOM POP-UP FUNCTIONS outside of the contracted working hours.
