Valor Preparatory Seoul is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to be a part of our team in Seoul, South Korea. The ideal candidate will inspire students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5, fostering physical growth, teamwork, and healthy habits through exciting and well-organized PE programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver PE lessons for Pre-K to Grade 5
- Enhance students' motor skills, coordination, and sportsmanship
- Create a secure, enjoyable, and structured learning atmosphere
- Customize activities to suit various developmental levels
- Instruct fundamental skills in sports, movement, and fitness
- Supervise outdoor and indoor physical activities
- Manage equipment and ensure safety during setup and cleanup
- Evaluate student advancement and offer feedback as needed
- Uphold classroom and playground discipline
- Communicate effectively with teachers and school leaders
- Participate in school events like sports day and field day
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
- Teaching certification or relevant PE training
- Experience in teaching young learners (Pre-K to elementary)
- Ability to work with ESL students in an international school
- High energy, positive demeanor, and effective classroom management
- CPR / First Aid certification is advantageous
